This week, we continue to work on our motion graphic design project. After discussing with the professor last week, I changed some of the main designs of my work.

First of all, I changed the background of the whole story from green to peach, because when I kept trying new colors, I found that light colors are more suitable for the character Jo in this dialogue. In addition, I also used white, dark orange, and brown as the color for the keywords. After adjusting the color palette, the entire video looks much more comfortable than last week.

Next, I added more effects to each sentence in the dialogue. And every subtle change in special effects has produced a great change in every sentence. For example, several keywords in a sentence disappear at the end, which can highlight the key points in the sentence.

Finally, I think that the last word in the video “lonely” fades away slowly, and the background changes from peach to black at the same time, which is my favorite part of this video. It fully presents the word loneliness. After getting feedback from the professor, I hope I could get more suggestions from peers. Hope you will like my video.
